Starting this month of February, the Sagrada Família will be undergoing a new works project that includes improving the entrances on C/ Marina and will also affect other areas of the Basilica. All necessary measures have been taken in order to ensure guests have a satisfactory visit. These works will continue through the month of November.
While the works are underway, the group entrance has been moved to the corner of C/ Mallorca and C/ Sardenya.
Growing interest in visiting the Basilica and our desire to ensure the safety and comfort of all visitors, employees and the general public have led us to undertake this project. Once it is finished, the entrances will be significantly more comfortable and the surrounding areas, better organised. It will also make the grounds more accessible to visitors with reduced mobility.
The works have been planned in order to minimise any possible inconvenience, implementing a solution that is best for both visitors and residents. To do so, we have worked to create new signs, support elements, exits, audioguide and transmitter/receiver return points, add extra staff and implement other measures.
