The audioguide is also available in fifteen spoken languages, with the recent addition of Swedish, Finnish and Dutch
The Basilica of the Sagrada Família now offers deaf visitors the option to use an audioguide in sign language. This new resource is available in Catalan, Spanish and International Sign for visitors from around the world, and it is the latest language to be added to the Sagrada Família audioguides. In fact, they are now available in fifteen languages: Catalan, Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Hungarian, Korean, Swedish, Finnish and Dutch.
The contents of the audioguide for the deaf have been adapted from those for the general audioguide to a video format with deaf sign language natives and subtitles in Catalan, Spanish and English.
The audioguide allows visitors to discover the Basilica at the own pace, according to their personal desires. So, it can be stopped at a point that particularly interests the visitor and also provides more in-depth information on various parts of the temple, both on the façades and inside. The audioguides come with the following tickets: “Audioguide tour”, “Top views” and “Gaudí’s life and work”.
